Not only are these home made meals safer, healthier and more delicious than their counterparts you buy from the store, but they are also more affordable on the pocket. Most people already have most of these ingredients at home, making them easy to prepare at any time.

the ingredients:

 2- 3/4 cups water
1/4 cup unsweetened apple
2 tablespoons   honey
1/8 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 medium egg. 4 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup unsweetened  dried apple flakes 1 tablespoon  baking powder

 Instructions:

1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Mix water, apple, honey, eggs and vanilla together in a bowl.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until well blended.
4. Pour into a lightly painted muffin tray.
5. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes

These delicious home-made snacks will make any puppy smiley and ask for more! The recipe makes about 12 cakes.
